Teamwork workshop

The team does not need more energy. It needs better agreements.

We design practical experiences to clarify goals, roles, decisions, coordination and conversations through challenges connected with how the team actually works.

Shared objective, interdependent practice, debrief and transfer.

Who it helps

A workshop designed around the team’s actual interdependence.

A useful activity depends on who must coordinate, which outcome they share and where work breaks down today. Before designing the workshop, we review history, composition, format, decisions and relevant tensions.

01

New or reconfigured teams

To agree purpose, responsibilities, channels, decision rules and ways of asking for help when membership, structure or direction changes.

02

Interdependent operations

To practise handoffs across roles, anticipate dependencies, communicate risk and restore coordination when part of the process changes.

03

Cross-functional teams

To integrate different languages, priorities and criteria without hiding disagreement or turning every decision into an endless meeting.

04

Hybrid or distributed teams

To define what is documented, what needs conversation, how remote voices are included and when a decision is truly closed.

Team behaviours

What the team practises beyond completing an activity.

The challenge is a way to observe and rehearse coordination. Learning occurs in the debrief, where the team connects exercise decisions with workplace patterns and agreements.

01

Build a shared objective

Distinguish the common outcome from individual tasks, clarify priority and recognize which information each role needs.

02

Clarify roles and decisions

Define who executes, decides, contributes judgment or needs information, preventing gaps and duplicated responsibility.

03

Share useful information

Communicate signals, assumptions, changes and risks while they can still improve a decision.

04

Coordinate dependencies

Make handoffs, blockers, capacity and synchronization points visible so one part does not optimize against the whole result.

05

Process disagreement

Separate data, interpretations and interests, hear dissenting voices and use a clear rule to close the decision.

06

Learn from execution

Review what was expected, what happened, why and which concrete agreement will be tested at the next opportunity.

How we work

From a shared challenge to agreements that survive the workshop.

Evidence on team training favours planned interventions connected with real processes. Motovolo combines practice, observation and debriefing and avoids blaming a session for problems caused by structure, resources or incentives.

  • A workshop objective defined as an observable behaviour or coordination.
  • A challenge requiring interdependence rather than parallel participation.
  • Enough roles and constraints to reproduce relevant decisions.
  • Observation of patterns without turning the exercise into personal judgment.
  • A structured debrief connecting experience, explanation and the next attempt.
  • A few agreements with owners, use contexts and review dates.
1

Understand

We gather the objective, composition, history, dependencies, format and available coordination or performance signals.

2

Design

We choose the challenge, rules, roles, difficulty, observation and debrief questions around the expected outcome.

3

Experience

The team acts, decides, receives new information and observes how its patterns help or hinder the result.

4

Transfer

We turn findings into concrete agreements, an application opportunity and a review that supports adjustment.

Combinable formats

The activity follows the objective, not the other way around.

The proposal defines duration, group size, accessibility, in-person or virtual delivery, materials and follow-up. No activity is chosen simply because it is popular or entertaining.

Experiential workshop

An interdependent challenge, observation and debrief for goals, roles, information, decisions and coordination.

Operations simulation

A work-adjacent case for practising handoffs, priorities, change, escalation and recovery from disruption.

Agreement laboratory

A session focused on mapping dependencies and building explicit coordination, communication and decision rules.

Team reinforcement

Short later meetings to review application, debrief real cases and adjust agreements that did not work.

Teamwork: conditions, roles and activities for better coordination

Teamwork is not simply getting along. It means coordinating interdependent contributions toward a shared outcome and learning from execution.

Before requesting a proposal

Frequently asked questions about the workshop.

Is team building the same as a recreational activity?

Not necessarily. An activity can be recreational and valuable for spending time together, but team development needs an objective, interdependence, observation, debrief and a connection with work.

Can you design fun activities?

Yes, when they are safe, accessible and useful for the objective. Enjoyment can support participation; it is not presented as automatic evidence of better coordination or performance.

Does it help when the team has conflict?

It depends on the conflict. A workshop can support practice for disagreement and work agreements. Harassment, discrimination, violence, misconduct or formal disputes require appropriate channels and professionals, not a group activity.

Can it work for hybrid or remote teams?

Yes. Design must account for technology, time zones, accessibility, balanced participation and the kind of coordination the team needs to practise.

How is the outcome evaluated?

Depending on scope, we observe behaviour during the challenge, agreement quality, later application and relevant operating signals. Event satisfaction is not confused with transfer.

What are the duration and price?

They depend on the objective, participant count, customization, delivery format, logistics, assessment and follow-up. Motovolo confirms them in a specific proposal.

Design an experience that changes how the team coordinates work.

Tell us who needs to work together, which outcome they share and where friction appears. We will propose a purposeful challenge and debrief.
