Which process should we automate first?

Choose frequent, stable, rule-based work with moderate risk whose time, errors and rework can be measured. Ambiguous or high-impact processes usually need redesign and controls first.

Do we need to replace all our systems?

Not necessarily. We first assess native capabilities, exports, APIs and available integrations. Replacement is recommended only when the benefit and total ownership cost justify the transition.

Does automation mean artificial intelligence?

No. Many reliable solutions use deterministic rules, integrations and workflows. When AI is involved, we define evaluation, limits, privacy and human review proportionate to the decision.

Can you integrate tools we already use?

Yes, when authorized access and a sustainable technical mechanism exist. We assess documentation, permissions, provider limits, data quality, security and contingency before committing to an integration.

How is return calculated?

We compare cycle time, human effort, errors, rework and exceptions with a baseline, including licensing, implementation, oversight, support and maintenance. Execution counts alone are not presented as savings.

What happens when the automation fails?

The design should detect failure, preserve traceability, prevent duplicates, alert with context and provide a safe manual path. Scope also defines owners, restoration and pause or rollback criteria.
