What does the 3-2-1 backup rule mean?

Keep three copies of information across two storage types or failure domains, with one copy offsite or separated. It is a starting point: access independence, integrity, retention and tested restoration still matter.

How much does business backup cost in Panama?

It depends on data volume and growth, frequency, retention, destinations, immutability, licenses, connectivity, equipment, monitoring, support and recovery objectives. We size the scope and compare scenarios first.

Is cloud file synchronization the same as backup?

Not necessarily. Synchronization can propagate deletion, corruption or encryption. Review which versions are retained, who can remove them, for how long and how an account, folder or complete system is restored.

Do services such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace need backup?

It depends on risk, required retention, contracts and available controls. The provider maintains its platform, while the business retains responsibilities for accounts, configuration, deletion, permissions, compliance and recovery.

Can you guarantee that everything will always be recovered?

That would not be responsible. We reduce uncertainty with independent architecture, monitoring, history and tests. A real recovery may depend on damage, excluded data, keys, connectivity, hardware, providers and changes after the last valid copy.
