Questions before sending the file to production.
Which file do you need to quote a 3D print?
We prefer an exportable 3D model and, when function matters, a drawing or list of critical dimensions. We also need units, scale, quantity, use, material or properties, color, finish, date and a visual reference. If only a physical part exists, measurement or modeling is assessed first.
How much does 3D printing cost in Panama?
Cost depends on preparation, technology, material, volume, orientation, supports, machine time, failure risk, post-processing, tolerance, quantity and delivery. Two parts with the same weight can cost differently because of geometry and finish.
Can you design the part if I do not have a 3D model?
We can assess modeling or adaptation as a separate scope. It needs a reference, measurements, function, constraints and review rounds. Copying a part does not reveal its material, tolerances, intellectual property or original safety conditions.
What is the difference between FDM and resin printing?
FDM deposits molten thermoplastic and is often practical for functional parts and larger sizes; resin printing can offer fine detail and smoother surfaces but requires specific washing, curing and handling. The intended use—not appearance alone—should drive selection.
Can a printed part replace an original spare?
Not automatically. Load, temperature, chemicals, wear, precision, regulation and failure consequences must be understood. Safety, pressure, electrical, food, clinical or other critical applications require appropriate materials, design, tests and approvals.
Do you work with dental or medical applications?
We can support technical workflows, models and technology assessment. A clinical application or device requires specific regulatory requirements, traceability, materials, equipment, post-processing, validation and professional responsibility; a general quotation does not replace them.
